Connect Your Number to Your Voicebot

overview this documentation guides you through the process of assigning an exotel phone number (exophone) to your voicebot, allowing customers to call and interact with your bot directly two user paths new users start with part 1 account setup (sign up & kyc) existing users skip to part 2 configuration & launch part 1 new users – account setup and kyc if you are new to the exotel platform, you must first complete account registration and verification go to and click the 'sign up' button to create your account https //my exotel com/auth/register https //my exotel com/auth/register or https //my in exotel com/auth/register https //my exotel com/auth/register follow the guided workflow to complete your kyc process this step is mandatory to activate your phone number and unlock the voicebot applet once your account and kyc are verified, log in to the exotel platform you can now proceed directly to part 2 configuration & launch to connect your voicebot part 2 existing users – configuration & launch this section details the 8 steps to link your voicebot to an exophone, starting from the exotel dashboard log in to your exotel platform ( my in exotel com or my exotel com ) from the left hand navigation panel, click on "app bazar" click "create new app" and drag the "voicebot" applet from the right sidebar onto the call flow canvas in a separate browser tab, open your voicebot console ( voicebot in exotel com or voicebot sg exotel com ) navigate to the "build bot" section, select the bot you want to assign the number to, click on "configuration" , and copy the "voicebot url" return to the app bazar , click on the "voicebot" applet, paste the copied " bot url" into the url field, and click "save" from the left hand navigation panel, go to "exophone" select the phone number you want to use for the voicebot and assign the app flow (the app you just created) to it go back to your voicebot console ( voicebot in exotel com or voicebot sg exotel com ) and click on "talk to the bot" to place a test call to the newly assigned exophone number your voicebot is now live and ready to take calls on the assigned phone number!
