overview the calendar feature allows admins to manage and configure work timings and holidays for all users under the admin, including admin allies, supervisors, and agents this helps schedule availability and manage non working days effectively access path settings → options → calendar features & usage add/edit work timings admins can add or edit default work timings for users on the calendar default working hours are set for each day as 12 00 am to 11 59 pm for the current month admins can set work timings months or even a year in advance by using the work timing button work timings can be configured individually by specifying start time end time select applicable working days work timings set here reflect on the availability of admin allies, supervisors, and agents the modified time and date of any changes are tracked and visible to supervisors and admin allies add holidays admins can mark certain days as holidays using the add holidays button adding a holiday opens a pop up/modal where the admin can select the holiday date provide a descriptive name or details for the holiday set an auto response message that will be shown to customers on that holiday holidays are visually distinct on the calendar and override default work timings for those days the auto response appears as a toast notification to customers submitting requests on holidays, informing them of unavailability editing and managing days both work timings and holidays can be edited by clicking the edit icon beside the respective day admins can switch a working day to a holiday or vice versa from the edit modal filters available let admins view calendar data by day, month, or year for easier management and search selecting the "all" checkbox selects all days, useful for bulk updates; unselecting any day will deselect the "all" checkbox automatically important notes and limitations the save button in work timings and add holidays modals remains disabled unless all required fields are properly filled the calendar system automatically generates monthly calendars when users log in without overwriting existing holiday settings if a day is set as a holiday, bulk updates to convert entire months to working days will not overwrite that holiday the interface hides start/end times and the working days selector in settings if disabled under inbound options modified dates of changes are logged and visible to supervisors and agents for audit purposes customer side impact customers receive the auto response set for holidays as toast notifications after submitting any requests on those days this helps manage customer expectations regarding support availability during holidays
