overview this feature provides supervisors and administrators with the flexibility to export report data for offline analysis and to schedule reports to be run automatically at regular intervals this ensures that stakeholders receive timely performance data without manual intervention how it works exporting from any report page, a user can click an "export" button this will download the data currently displayed in the report, typically in a csv or excel format scheduling users can set up a schedule for a specific report to be run automatically the system will generate the report at the specified time and can be configured to email it to a predefined list of recipients prerequisites user must have permissions to access the reports module configuration steps exporting a report (supervisor) location supervisor > reports > \[select any report] action after generating a report, click the export button to download the data scheduling a report (administrator) location adminsitrator > reports > scheduler > all schedules action the exisitng schedules will be visible in aplhabetical order, with various details such as created date and time and next execution date and time click on "add" proceed to provide details such as schedule name, any description and selecting the output format select the schedule start and end times end time can be a specific date and time, never ending or ending after a certain number of executions select the frequency amongst hourly enter the number of hours after which the report should repeat execution daily enter the number of days after which the report should repeat execution and the time of day when the report should be executed weekly select the days of the week on which the report should be executed, by selecting the checkboxes for the respective days, and the time of the day at which the report should be executed, across the selected day(s) monthly select the day based or week based time frame for day based schedule frame, enter the day date of the month on which the report should run and the frequency in number of months after which the report should repeat execution for week based schedule frame, select the "first/ second/ third/ fourth" instance of the day of the week on which the report should run and the frequncy in number of months after which the report should repeat execution next enter the time of day at which the report should run yearly select the day based or week based time frame for day based schedule frame, enter the day and month date on which the report should run for week based schedule frame, select the "first/ second/ third/ fourth" instance of the day of the week and the month of the year, on which the report should run next enter the time of day at which the report should run cron select from the available list select the desired report to schedule and other usual parameters select the report delivery profile from the p\[redefined list of email or ftp configurations use cases offline analysis a data analyst exports a detailed call report to import it into a business intelligence tool for advanced analysis daily performance summary a manager schedules the "agent performance report" to be emailed to all team leaders every morning weekly stakeholder updates a supervisor schedules a weekly queue performance report to be sent to department heads benefits enables deeper analysis exporting data allows for unlimited offline analysis and integration with other business intelligence platforms automates information delivery report scheduling ensures that key stakeholders automatically receive performance data on a consistent basis saves administrative time eliminates the need for supervisors to manually run and distribute the same reports every day or week limitations the scheduling functionality, if not found in the manual, may not be a standard feature changelog release number change description 4 13 1 initial feature documentation
