overview this section enables the creation and management of sandbox credentials these credentials provide limited access to specific parts of the cobrowsing platform for sandbox or test users, typically for development, testing, or restricted administrative access access path cobrowsing console → settings → sandbox credentials features & usage add user admins can add sandbox users by clicking add user during creation, the admin selects the access type cobrowsing only (inbound option selectable) video call only depending on the choice, relevant toggles for inbound or video call access are enabled login and access restrictions the created sandbox admin user, upon login, sees only the settings pages relevant to their access if cobrowsing only is selected with inbound enabled, the user sees only the general and cobrowse pages (video call page hidden) extend and edit credentials the extend button opens a calendar to select the expiry date of the sandbox user’s access the edit button brings up a modal with all user details pre filled for modification important notes and limitations sandbox credential creation is restricted to users with an email domain of @exotel com and who have staff level access newly created sandbox users are valid by default for 15 days sandbox users themselves do not have access to modify or create additional sandbox credentials if a sandbox user’s access expires, supervisors or agents mapped to that admin will also see error messages restricting access
